Cabo-Resort Beach Getaway VS Resort Pool Getaway Excursion

We are cruising in November and were looking to see if any had any feedback on the following two shore excursions.

Has anyone done either of these? What actual resort are they at?

In Cabo, we did the Pool Resort day & that was an amazing day!

You get picked up for a very quick bus ride up the hill, given a tour of the lush pool resort overlooking the ocean, shown to the yummy buffet & then a day lounging, swimming & playing in 3 UNCROWDED, clean, HUGE pools!!! What a nice change from the "people soup" of the onboard ship's pools & jacuzzi!
