We have booked a standard inside cabin for our upcoming Dream cruise and are more than happy with this as we have had one previously, but out of curiosity....
Has anybody asked at the port for a cabin upgrade and been successful? If so, what kind of price charge?
Is there any way of knowing before check in if the ship is full to capacity?
Thank you!

No, there is no way to figure out just how full the ship is, the only data that is available tells you how many categories available to book, not specific stateroom %.

If they are still selling the cruise on line 4 days before your departure, it is not full. The cruises are pulled from on line booking 3 days before embarkation.
