Cabana Massage

I like it around 10 a.m. so I don't have to rush to get there, but I can still enjoy it before I head into the water. On the flipside, last thing before you go back to the ship is nice too. It's a grat way to cap off a day on the island.

I read somewhere that the earlier the better. You don't want to get a sunburn & then get a massage!:earseek: And you want to have time to spend at C.C. Good luck deciding!:cat: :flower:

We took the latest time available. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine all day on some prime real estate on the adult beach, then we gathered all our stuff, headed over to the cabanas. It was the cherry on top for the day!

We took the earliest time offered (10am). We met at the spa at 9:30 am and were escorted over to the cabanas with the first group of lucky people!

I LOVED it first thing. The oils they used kept my skin so soft throughout the day! It worked out well. By the time we finished with our massages it was time for a cool frosty cocktail. I think if I would have had a couple of konk coolers before my masage, I would have slept through part of it, and I didn't want to miss one rub!

PLUS, if you are in the salt water and sand during the day, some of that can stick to you (even after a rinse off) and can get a little painful in the massage process.

I vote morning. (10 am was the earliest offered, so we didn't have to rush at all).

We didn't do the cabana massage, but friends of ours did (they had a 10am appointment for a couples massage)... and something to consider ..... If you have children who will be staying at the kids club while you are doing your cabana massage ... remember that you will need to take the children to Scuttle's Cove on the island since the kids club is on Castaway Cay and not on the ship. Our friends had a bit of confusion about this in terms of where and when to drop off the children before heading to the cabanas since they were supposed to meet at 9:15 for the cabana massage at the spa on-board but we had not yet gotten the "all ashore" and the kids club was not opened at that time. It ended up working out fine for them but was a bit hectic/confusing as they scurried around trying to figure out what to do with the children.

They both really liked the massage! Enjoy!

JennL-I was there when the masseuse had to tell people that because they didn't get there on time, they would be charged the full amount and only get like a 15 or 20 minute massage. Apparently the people came as soon as they could physically get there but since the ship disembarked late(which I can't understand-of all the islands, you'd think they'd have this one down pat!). Ours was at 11 and it was perfect. We had just enough time to get to the beach. Get the Dad's settled with the little ones and off to the adult beach for a quiet drink before the massage.

hope that helps!
