So I totally forgot my tape measure, but I did have some vinyl squares with me that were 12x24. It was just over 2' wide at the widest by the wall. It stays at least that wide for apx. 2.5' feet.

Oh you are just awesome @orangey! I know that I can now get a jigsaw puzzle that's about 18 wide and about 24 inches long! That is so great! Thank you so much!!

Not sure i can get a 1000 piece puzzle with those dimensions but I'm sure I can find a 500-750 piece puzzle with those dimensions!
