Bus to Wide World of Sports

Has anyone ever taken a bus from a resort to the Wide World of Sports?

I am thinking that we will need to go to the Ticket and Transportation Center to change buses. I would really appreciate knowing if this is even possible.

We will be there in January for the Marathon and were going to use ME to and from the airport, so we would be relying completely on the resort buses. or will we need to plan for a taxi for this one excursion?

Normal transportation to WWoS is by way of the Disney studios from 8am to 8pm.

However, for the marathon, if you are participating, there will be transportation from your resort to the starting line. (Is the starting line at WWoS?)

If you just need to go to WWoS to pick up your race packet, then the transportation from the Studios should meet your needs.

I have run the half marathon 2x now and both times there has been a bus running from my Disney resort to WWoS during the EXPO hours. I think you receive information about it when you get your information packet from the race people (though I'm sorry to say I can't recall when that actually is!)
