we are thinking of a quick 2 night stay Father's Day weekend. Will it be crowded?? What to do? Where to stay? Where to eat?

I would stay at the INN at CHRISTMAS Place. it is a little High but well worth the price. plus you get free breakfast , they have cereals doughnuts, made to order omlets , bisc & gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, orange juice, coffee, milk etc. We would have easily paid $28-$30 eating breakfast out each day we stayed so really was good deal. PLUS the hotel in CLEAN, and NICE. nice pools, rooms .

must eat at the Applewood farmhouse rest. so good and fun. (go to apple barn for a pie and icecream)
the Old Mill is good too.

Bennitts BBQ is amazing and Red Rooster for Breakfast is wonderful......you can check ebay and see if there are any availabilities for the weekend you want to go for a cabin, sometimes you can get the cabins for $100 a night.....good luck

We were in Gatlinburg for two nights two weekends ago. We stayed at Rocky Waters for $59 a night plus tax. Very clean. Plus, the balcony overlooked the little river and the water rushing over the rocks was so relaxing. There was a free continental breakfast - just Krispe Kreme donuts, cereal and bagels - but good enough to get us by until we could get an early lunch.

We are going in two weeks. We love to eat at Bubba Gump's. The whole family loves the food, atmosphere, and the trivia quiz that the waiter gives you.

We ate at Bubba Gumps on our last trip and really liked it. Applewood Farmhouse is always on our must eat at list. Chop House Restaraunt is also excellent

b. gumps has the BEST onion rings ever! Look for coupons for 15% off Bennets BBQ breakfast buffet(yummy sausage links) or lunch.Applewood and TGI Fridays are good and usually take AAA card discount. We stayed in a jucuzzi room that was only $65 last July (thru the week ) at River View in Sevierville.Norma Dan Motel,Cold Creek,Country Inn and Suites, and Econolodge Riverside in Pigeon Forge are all very good.I took my kids once to the Econolodge and the favorite part of their whole trip was feeding the ducks there!Aquarium is great, we are going to check out the new Magiquest this week.
