I will be staying at the borgata in november overnite we usually go to taj the last time we were there the rooms were dirty and the property seemed unkept any reviews on the borgata?about the rooms. Thanks

The Taj may be closing at the beginning of November. Quite a few casinos have already closed.

Stayed there last month for 2 nights. The rooms are clean, well kept and up to date as is the entire property.

When the Taj closes, that will only leave 4 casino hotels on the Boardwalk. I wonder if eventually there will only be gambling at the Marina.

Hello, all. I've stayed in AC a few times and I've stayed at different casinos, but the Borgata is one of the best. Very nice accommodations and a great overall feel to the hotel.

We just stayed in August. It is beautiful and the indoor pool allows kids almost all day. Really nice pool, it closes at 8 though.

Really enjoyed ad they already sent me future offers that were much better than use to get from other places.

Never been to Atlantic City, but I recall this place was in the news. Once was when there was a poker tournament, and one player apparently tried to sneak in counterfeit tournament chips. Seems kind of stupid to me since every player's chip count is tracked during these events. Another was when Phil Ivey apparently took advantage (several times actually) of an offset defect in the cards backs and got the dealer to arrange the cards in a certain way. He was with a Chinese woman who said that to the dealer - that she wanted the cards turned a certain way "for luck". They put the cards in a shuffling machine that doesn't flip the cards and didn't flip the direction of half the shoe like in most casinos. He tried the same thing at some casino in the UK.

The Taj bankruptcy has nothing to do with Borgata's rooms. Borgata is considered the nicest AC property to stay at.

We've stayed twice and loved the first time, was amazing. I however did not like the Water Club side at all. Slightly more expensive, suppose to be no kids and rooms were a lot smaller.
