I'm glad someone asked, because everyone at school goes to me for advise... Let's see
If you haven't read Harry Potter that's a must. Then I think...
Catcher In The Rye
Farenheit 451
Martian Cronicles um...
O yeah Bud not Buddy and Holes are also very good and I reccomend Exodus but it's really long.
Any classic books are good and most aren't really that hard. If you need any more book advise I'm probably the one to ask so feel free to.

The Catcher In The Rye
To Kill A Mockingbird
Gravity by Tess Gerritsen (sp?)..it's a medical mystery
The Secret Garden
A Little Princess
Night
A Red Sky At Morning
Valley of the Dolls
Where The Heart Is
Little Women
The Grapes Of Wrath
East of Eden
The Anne of Green Gables Series (8 books I think)
Ok that is all I can think of but anyone can PM me and ask me about books. It's one of my fav topics besides music and guys
I've been thinking about this some more, and I've come up with yet more books.
1984 by George Orwell
Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson
Human Croquet by Kate Atkinson
The Four Just Men by Edgar Wallace
Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (Or was that Emily? )
And I'll just emphasise again that Catch 22 is soooo incredibly brilliant
Well my current fave right now is Buring Brightly,
Also any book in the Purn series,
Any and all Xanth,
And I personaly love the first book in the Dune series
If you've seen the new sci-fi channel movie the books
relly close to that, but better.
Hope this helps.

To Kill A Mockingbird is really good. I'm reading it now for English class. It makes a lot of good points and makes you think a little. Some of the book/charaters I can relate to.
