So, looking at booking during the free dining deal that's going on.....so Aug. 27 - Sept. 2 is what we're looking at. For 4 of us (boys are 11 and 13),with flights (BUF), and the free dining we can get it for $2664 cdn. Does that sound like a good deal? :confused3

I know when we went in 2004 it was over $5000 for us, but we flew from Northern Ontario which was VERY expensive.

Where do you book through?

Also, if you don't have park hoppers, but you do have the waterpark thing, can you go to a water park and a theme park the same day? or to a theme park, back to the hotel for a swim, and then back to the SAME theme park later in the day?

thanks

I can't answer all of your questions but I do now that without park hoppers you can go to one park then go back to your resort and then go back to the same park later that day. My family did this a few times last year.

Where do you book through?

I would highly recommend Fairytale Destinations in Bolton.....they are Disney specialists and are absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! :thumbsup2

We dealt with Christine (she's my hero :worship:) but I hear Katherine is fantastic as well.

You will pay the same price through them as you would booking direct with Disney. They make all your dining reservations, arrange your Magical Express transportation (if you're using that service), everything.....giving you more time for reading the disboards :rotfl:.

Hey, I can't help but ask.....you're not the same "Millbrook Mom" from the TP website :surfweb: that was looking to book a getaway at Great Wolf, are you? My curiosity is getting the better of me!! :cutie:

It cost us $5300 to fly from Edmonton return. We are staying at the POP resort from July 22-29. We purchased the dining plan as well as park hoppers.
There are 2 adults and 12 year old.The price you mention sounds good.

is this for air, hotel, the free dinign and hopper passes??? if it is you got a sweet deal!!! we just booked for septemebr 30th to october 8th from halifax and its 4400 including cancellation insurance. now thats for two adults a four year old and a 2 yr old who doenst pay to get into the parks.

this trip we booked through sears- they were great- i dont have long distance so our ta is goign to book our adr 90 days out for us since hte computer wont let her yet : S . shes also arranging the magicla express transportation too. thank god!!!

and yes like pp's said you can come and go to the water parks/ other parks at will. as long as you have the park hopper option on your ticket.

That is a good price, we live in central canada so we fly from minneapolis but the price is similar!! We book everything but the airfare through the dreams unlimited travel site, it is the easiest and they make arrangements for dining etc for you at no extra charge. Our airfare we book through orbitz.com bc if the flight goes cheaper we get the difference refunded!

Love Christine too!

Looking for a Great Wolf lodge code myself. Just wondering if you have any to pass along.

Morning, Diamondintheruff! :goodvibes

When were you planning on going to the Lodge?

Here's a few for your to try:

WATER or WOLF seem to work for just about any date during the summer, and will get you 20% off the rack rate.

URBANMOM gets you 10% off the room rack rate, and I think that one is good until the end of the year.

FAMILYVALUE gets you $100 off the price of a suite, but this one must be booked by May 30th (which is only 2 days away) and the only two dates I could find where it still had availability under this code were July 9th and 10th. July 9th, which is a Thursday, comes up at just $199 with this discount applied ....a fantastic price, considering its high season at that point.

If you are looking to stay before July 23, then the inclusive packages are a great deal, IMHO. Frankly, I don't like to cook or haul food on our vacation (call me a lazy shmuck...I am! :rotfl:) so having all meals included is a real bonus. For example, the 14th and 15th of July (just for example, other dates may also be available) under the TWOINCLUSIVE promo gets you:

- Two night's accomodations for up to 4 people in a family suite
- Waterpark passes for three days
- All you can eat breakfast buffet for everyone both mornings
- Lunch for everyone both days (at either Pizza Hut Express or the Bear Claw Cafe)
- All you can eat dinner buffet for everyone both nights
- 1 game of mini-golf + 10 arcade tokens + 1 Cub Club Craft per child

Rate for the above comes up at $629.90 plus tax. Room only (with waterpark passes but no food/golf/tokens/crafts) comes up as $599.90...so if you can feed your family for two whole days plus get activities thrown in for only $30 total, that's an awesome deal!

Anyhoo, hope maybe some of these will help you . We just love the Lodge....its our family's favourite Ontario destination.

We are flying from Calgary in November. 5 of us and our flights are $2600 cdn including all taxes and fees....we are staying off site as we are going for 3 weeks and our rental house is $110/night for 4 bdrm 3 bathroom pool home.......we could not afford to stay at WDW for that long and want to do all the other attractions etc. as none of us have ever been to Florida so we had to decide 3 weeks off site with lots of room or a week onsite for the same price......
