I was able to get a reservation for Sept 4th.
We were part of the first test program and it was very different from this! We checked in to Poly CL in December and my understanding is that the test was extended to CL guests of the Poly, Grand Floridian and Contemporary.
You were walked through the process by a CM with an iPad and you had to order your entire lunch in advance. When you arrived at BoG you had to walk to the "guard shack" at the left of the bridge entrance. There, they checked your reservation (it was under your name, no reservation number). We never had to hand them the paper fastpass or show it for that matter. They never checked KTTW or any proof of resort etc.
We paid at the guard shack, were handed a yellow rose and were escorted in to BoG by a cast member. The CM then gave us a brief tour and allowed us to select any room we wanted. I would say less than 5 minutes after we sat down our food was on the table!
It was a seamless experience. I will be interested to see how the second test goes and I am hopeful that we can participate.
There was no "checking" to be sure that guests participating in the first test were actually staying at one of the selected resorts. They way I know this? We ended up switching from Poly CL to AKL Savannah view about 2 hours after we checked in to the Poly. Our reservation was still valid even though we were no longer Poly CL guests. I would wager that if the online system accepts your reservation number that your reservation will be valid.
