I saw that the macaroni and cheese kid's meal at BOG is on the dinner menu, not the lunch menu. I wondered if it is also available for lunch. Has anyone ordered this for their kids during lunch, with success?

Be Our Guest will not sub anything that is not on the menu, and they won't sub dinner items for the lunch menu.

The menus were just changed yesterday. So I don't know if you'll find anyone who's asked yet or has noted if the mac and cheese is on the lunch menu for kids. The menus that are going around online, it is not.

Actually the one I'm looking at doesn't have mac and cheese at dinner either.

As of this week, there is still no Mac and cheese on the kids menu during lunch.

The kids menu seems strange at this restaurant! I was wondering how many kids really go to WDW and order turkey meatloaf for lunch. :confused3 My kids don't care for it at home so I'm sure they would stare at me like I had 3 eyeballs if I offered them that at Disney.

There are a lot of different restaurants at Walt Disney World. Parents of kids who like traditional food will be happy at BOG, and parents of kids who like fast food or other types of food will be happy somewhere else.

A lot of people were complaining because Disney did not have enough variety for kids to eat. They are trying to please those families.

This thread is a good example of why Disney can't please everyone. When I was a child, I would have eaten most things on the BOG kid's menu. There's no way I would have eaten French Onion soup though. Now, I'll definitely give it a try. As humans, our palates can vary widely. This puts WDW in a no-win situation, when it comes to restaurant menus. Fortunately, they offer enough variety that everyone should be able to find several restaurants their family can agree on.

I really hope they change the menu or add a few things before we are there June 12.. DD has sensory issues and I imagine we will buy a roll for her and bring our own stuff here.

I don't like Morroccan food, but I would like to enjoy the atmosphere and show at Marrakesh. I think I'll just demand they start serving pizza and grilled cheese there so I can enjoy it. It's not fair that I should be excluded.

Sorry. I didn't mean to start something. I was just wondering, as all the children's meals appear to be the same price, so I thought maybe they would serve the lunch ones for dinner, and the dinner ones for lunch, as well. I am excited about the BOG menu and think it looks great! While my kids wouldn't enjoy the mahi mahi, they would eat anything else off the kids' menu -- I was just curious if the two menus were interchangeable.

Unfortunately, not all restaurants are for everybody. Personally, I loved when I ate in Cinderella Castle, but I have been priced out of it.

I love the children's food choices at BOG. They are the types of food that my granddaughters eat on an everyday basis.

If I really wanted to eat there with my child/grandchild and they didn't like the menu, I would stop someplace and buy something for my child/grandchild to eat and bring it with me.

If Disney was having problems getting people to eat at BOG (lunch or dinner), they would change the menu in a New York minute. But, apparently that is not the case.

    Truffle fries, yummy!

We ate dinner there 2 weeks ago, and the macaroni was with marinara and Parmesan cheese, not a Mac and cheese. Not sure if this changed. My kids did eat it and thought it was pretty good, and they are picky! They also ate some of my Cornish game hen because they love rotisserie chicken. Wish they had it on the kids menu, but they did fine with it all.

    picky eater.
