Blue Lagoon and Atlantis?

Hi all. We are on the Magic May 9th headed to the Bahamas. It's myself, my husband, our 5 year old son, and my parents. We want to do a dolphin interaction with our son. Originally, we were planning Atlantis because everyone wants to see it (my mom especially). But now, after reading all the recent reviews, we're thinking Blue Lagoon for the dolphins. If we did the first Blue Lagoon dolphin encounter, would we still have time to make it over to Atlantis just to walk around and see the place (and casino!)? Is that insane? Is it even possible (time-wise)? Thanks for your help!

My husband and I did the dolphin encounter at Atlantis in May of 2011. Its about a 10 minute ride over to the resort, then an emoloyee there walks the group through the hotel. It was an easy 1/2 hr walk to the dolphin cove. From there you check in and put on wet suits (the employees were not to friendly) then off to the dolphin encounter that lasted about 15 minutes. During the encounter you are not allowed to take any pictures so they can sell them to you at the end & they are very expensive. Now you have several hours before you are due back on the ship. The grounds are pretty, and enormous so you can imagine the walking. The employees there were not helpful in directing me to certain things I wanted to see nor could they care. If I could do it over again I would do Blue Lagoon.
