BLT or AKV Kidani

I have 2 modify an existing reservation...

We are going July 24-Aug 2........2 BR....the last 5 night we will be at BWV....the question is:

first 4 night BLT, theme park view or Lake view (both available)
or
Kidanai

Thoughts/opinions

Kidani.

We stayed one night at BLT and didn't care for it.

Reasons?
Larger rooms and better decor at Kidani.

The swarms at BLT.

Indeed the decor is better at Kidani, and Kidani is very relaxing, but if you're frequenting the theme parks, BLT is a hit! And if you get a lake or theme park view, so much better still.

All-in-all, my family has thoroughly enjoyed both resorts such that it becomes difficult to decide which is better of the two.

Depends on your family's needs.

BLT is great for convienence of travel and being right next to the Magic Kingdom and the Monorail. Especially great if you have children (which those pics are adorable!) and if they get cranky - you are close to the hotel.

AKV - Kidani is also very cool. A little bit a travel to the parks but awesome views of the animals on the savannah and access to two pools/water areas.

We own in both places and split our stay in both each trip. This year we are doing BLT first and then AKV - Jambo Concierge for the end of our trip. And funny enough, we will be down there the same time as you too! LOL!

Whatever you decide, I am sure you will enjoy your trip. Good luck!

We went back and forth....so in the end we cancelled the BWV part...and are doing 5 nights Kidani...and 4 nights BLT Theme park view.

Having not stayed at either...we figured, what the heck

Ewww....were those swarms of birds, love bugs?? Heading there late August and not looking forward to swarms of anything.
