The two parks we want to have easy access to in MK and Epcot. We have stayed at boardwalk but looking for something a little different.

Thank you

The Poly. Monorail or boat to Magic Kingdom. Walk (or take the monorail all the way around) to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail.:thumbsup2

I agree with the Poly. The MK is just 2 monorail stops away and it's an easy 5 minute walk to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail :thumbsup2.

Poly! 5 min to walk to TTC for Epcot monorail. Much quicker then taking Resort monorail all the way around the loop to transfer at TTC.

Agree with the PPS but if you want to go moderate POR or POFQ might work. Close to Epcot and you can either take the monorail from Epcot or bus it to MK.

after having just stayed at FW Cabins for the first time, i say the cabins. i have stayed at Contemporary before and the monorail in recent times seems to be increasingly unreliable.

FW Cabins rule as far as i'm concerned. There is a boat that takes you from FW to MK and is as close to MK gates as you can get. Monorail has the walk down/up the ramp. which is no big deal but after pounding the pavement in the parks all day, the walk up the ramp seems much more difficult. The real kicker to me is that at FW you can rent golf carts and park down by the marina, close to the dock. from there you call literally drive to your doorstep with in the grounds. this sure beats schlepping it through a resort complex or hotel building by foot. Disney makes you walk enough everywhere else, conserving precious footsteps anyhwere one can is high on our priority list. if you want Epcot, then hop on the monorail after getting off the boat.

cr/blt - it is a nice walk to the mk - or take the monorail to Epcot. the ttc is the next stop on the monorail where you transfer to the epcot monorail.

Have not stayed at Poly but Grand Floridian was great for those reasons...that being said Poly is definitely on my list of resorts to try..

Any monorail resort will do (Poly, GF, CR) and WL has pretty easy access to the monorail (short boat ride to monorail) so that works too. Poly would be my first choice, you can just walk from your room to the TTC and hop on the Epcot monorail, so that wins as the easiest, best choice (the other monorail resorts require a transfer at the TTC) If you don't want to go to the Poly, any other monorail resort would be next for easiest access to those two parks.

totally agree that CR/BLT is the "best" resort for access to MK and epcot. an 8-10 minute walk to the MK and one stop away from the TTC to transfer to epcot provides the easiest possible access.

if you prefer the poly as a resort, that's fine - but getting to the parks will take a tiny bit longer.

Easy transportation is one of our top priorities in choosing a resort, and I'd vote for Poly for easiest access to the combination of MK and Epcot. As previous posters mentioned, we can walk from our Poly room to GCH or TTC for direct monorail to MK, and to TTC for direct monorail to Epcot. That ability to hop on the direct monorail to either park is a key factor for us.

Now, for access to just MK, we're choosing CR. Can't beat a walk! But we don't care for the monorail transfer stuff, so we'll stay at BC for two nights, spend time at Epcot and DHS and then transfer over to CR for MNSSHP and MK time.
