Best place to dine with Pluto..?

I was originally going to look at Chef Mickey's for dinner - but there are just overwhelming bad reviews for this meal.... My son keeps saying that the only character he wants to see is Pluto - is there anywhere else where we can dine and see him?

I second 'Ohana at the Poly. I thought the food wasn't bad (and the specialty items, like the cinnamon and pineapple breads and the Lilikoi juice were awesome!) and I really liked both Mickey and Pluto. I haven't been there for a few years, but most people seem to like it.

Breakfast at OHana and dinner at Garden Grill are two of our favorite meals. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

It's a shame that ltt isn't character meal any more that was a good character meal

For what it's worth, the Chef Mickey's breakfast is WAY better than dinner. However, Ohana's is a better breakfast than Chef Mickey's. If you do either one, you'll probably be safe.

We were at 'Ohana earlier this month, and it was well worth it for the character breakfast.

I am one of the few here that actually likes dinner at Chef Mickey's, lol. Guess we've been lucky, we've had only good experiences there.

Our daughter(11) loved Garden Grill dinner this month and meeting Pluto and the others. We requested a booth and you can't see the other guests from your table so the character visits feel like private visits. Highly recommend for the character interaction. The food was pretty good. We really like the salad and the bread. Our favorite of the entrees was the turkey and dressing. We will be going back in June for DD birthday.

If you want dinner, definitely Garden Grill. We ate there last year for the first time and were on the first row, curved booth section and it was fantastic. You didn't see any other patrons around you at all. The food was really good. We liked the steak and mashed potatoes best. The salad and rolls were also fantastic. DH and I neither one really care for cobbler, so I asked if there were any other deserts and our server brought us these fantastic little cupcakes that looked like ice cream cones.

We enjoyed Pluto at chef Mickey's breakfast and Garden Grill dinner. Would happily return to both.

Us too, Chef Mickey is usually our traditional arrival night dinner. We always have a great time there.

OP, for Pluto, I would say Chef Mickey or Garden Grill dinner. At CM you can also meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. At GG you can also meet Mickey, Chip and Dale. We love both! Good luck!

Garden Grove over at the Swan/Dolphin. Never crowded so lots of interaction.
I second this one! There was like NO one in the restaurant and he came over like all night to us! He even met DD at the door and escorted her in! So cute!!! Plus the food was great!

We did CM breakfast Nov 30th. Food was okay, character interactions and CMs were fantastic.
Pluto played peek a boo with my DS3's face while I was trying to take pictures, then afterwards he teased my son by playing high five, but he kept pulling his paws away. My son LOVED it! Probably his fav character moment other than Donald Duck jumping up and down waiting for my son at the circus. :)

I will definitely recommen Garden Grove
So many interaction becaus it's never crowded

its LTT _ i.e.,, Liberty Tree Tavern, good basic food that the kids like, and they used to have fun interaction, but they've changed and no longer have characters in their period costumes...

If your son likes Mickey, Stitch and Pluto, I really recommend Ohana's for Breakfast! Its our favorite interaction, Pluto has gone crazy, as does Stitch, its fun to watch the interaction and be a part of the interaction. They have a little parade (or used to) that the kids love -

Do know that Ohana's is a relaxed breakfast, and may take longer than you expect. When you arrive you may see a great many people standing, sitting, waiting and you may see empty tables - its because Ohana seats per section - that way the charcters interact in your section. I also love that they bring the food to you - as much as you want! So for us, its more relaxed, its not like if you go up to get more food you may miss a character -

we usually do it on our last day, we've packed and then come to the Polynesian, its a fun way for us to end our vacation
