Best place to "be" with kids for the Sail Away Party on Dream?

Leaving on Sunday!! Getting excited. Wondering from those who have sailed, where the best spot is to be for the Sail Away Party? Mind you we have two little ones ages 2 and 5 :) Also, how early should we plan to get there for a good spot? thanks! :)

I can't give you an exact answer but something to think about, do you want to be "in" the excitment? Meaning, do your kids want to be up with the characters, or do you prefer to watch the show from a distance? Maybe someone could give suggestions on both?

Good question! I think we might like to be more in the excitement, where the kids are dancing, characters, etc. :)

We left the Fantasy last week-after a great cruise-you are absolutely right to be excited.

Right after the mandatory drill-proceed to the main deck. The pre-show starts almost immediately. Get a drink, use the bathroom, and be ready to dance. After the dance, move up on an upper deck to waive to the folks dining on the pier (right side of the ship as you pull out)...

-If you have early dining-after you sail, time to go to your stateroom and get ready for dinner. If you have late dining, time to go to your stateroom and get ready for the show...

Put your personal navigator in your back pocket-folded along the dotted lines-and enjoy the evening.
(prior to the sail away-make sure you visit the kids clubs-it is open house time and you get to go in and play around with your kids-great magical fun!)
