Ditch Report: There were lots of people packed into The Ditch that day and we had to stand in line to get a table! There were 9 of us. Kat and her Johnny, Laura (Shenanigoat), Lori, Catherine, Roz (from DC), Linda (from AllEars) and myBob and me. We sat at the back table and ordered drinks and a little bit of food. We commented on the fact that some jerk stole the Avenging Angel. We also talked amongst ourselves for a bit. That it is.

There is now an Avenging Angel hung over the "window" beside the door (behind the bar so no one can reach him, near the shelf where they put the "dead" tequila bottles). So there are two in the bar again.

I was very sad to hear that Sheryl found a lost button ... ... here I thought everyone treasured them as much as Jay and I.

Gin, congrats on the sale and the upcoming move! So glad that everything worked out the way you wanted it to.

Not I!!! Mine came home safe and sound with me, otherwise I would have been here crying big tears!

I wore mine on the strap of my cross-body bag, so it would hit about the place where I'd pin it on my shirt, but felt it was safer that way than if I had pinned it on the shirt and had to worry about the bag strap pulling it off. Even so, I checked to make sure it was there every once in a while, those are valuable pins!!!! (limited edition!)

It is amazing you found it on your bus!

I hear my husband saying "You've got yours, right? You've got yours?" (I read your post to him) so I just went and checked and yup, it is sitting on top of my jewelry box...

My button and I will be making a return trip to F&WF in a couple weeks! I have the button on the strap of my messenger bag and I couldn't believe all the attention it got!! So many people admired it and several even asked if they could take a picture of it!!

Glad everyone who's back had a great vacation!
For those of us still counting the days, hopefully it will be here before we know it.

And now, onto other news. With our home finally sold, my husband is retiring from his current job at the end of the month. We'll take a trip to WDW, and then we will move to San Antonio in Dec.
9 years in Utah combined with an extremely stressful job (and blood pressure problems that have gone along with it) have given us enthusiasm for a change.

2011 will be an new adventure year for us!!

Heading back to the airport as I went to sit down on the ME bus there on the seat was a poor lost Bendy Friendie Button!! I sent Brenda a text thinking it was her's because I knew they had left just a hour or so before us, but they took a taxi. So who lost a button?!

I am in the process of uploading my F&W photos to Photobucket right now, but had to share what I found hiding in my garden this morning. Since there is a chance of frost in the next couple of days I thought I had better bring him indoors.

Lovely photo Elin. Do you have any trouble with Photobucket? I have tried using Firefox (my usual browser) and Explorer, but I am constantly getting error-type messages. If I hit refresh, the page loads, but it is quite annoying. I just went to Photobucket as I was typing and for the first time in a long, long time--everything worked well. Go figure. . .

I e-mailed Photobucket several months ago and got the usual nonsense that it was my computer, etc. I knew that wasn't possible since the computer was brand spanking new. I was just curious if anyone else was receiving the "Bad Command" or something like that message when switching between pages on PB.

Can't wait to see your photos.

Bendy, I'm thinking the found Friendy pin just hopped off it's owner and decided to stay at WDW. Sorta like Planky, it might just have a mind of it's own.

Thanks a million to all the Friendies for their well wishes on our pending move. Only a nut would be calling and scheduling movers at the same time she's planning a WDW vacation. Epcot Food and Wine dates are firm--so I had to work with them. No doubt about my priorities!!

I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but I do collect pins. Not obsessively, but more as a way to remember each trip. So this trip I bought several (F&W, MNSSHP, etc.) but your pin is definitely the most exclusive, and will hold a special place in my collection.

I do use Firefox and usually don't have any trouble with Photobucket, Terri. Some days it doesn't work properly, but I honestly think it is THEIR fault, not mine or the browser I am using.

Glad everyone enjoyed the slideshow. My husband was watching it last night and realized our pictures are all off by one day. Somehow my camera advanced one day ahead. Our arrival day was 10/1 and departure on 10/9 (my birthday and our anniversary). Not sure how that happened, but glad he realized it and I reset the date for future pictures.
