Beaches and Cream Meet - DEC 18 UPDATE POST 19

http://land.allears.net/blogs/jackspence/
From The “World” According to Jack blog

Beaches and Cream is open daily from 11am to 11pm. If you’re the first party of the day, you’re group is escorted into the restaurant while everyone else waits outside. The lights are dimmed and flashing beacons are activated. All of the servers make a big ta-do about your arrival and you’re seated at a booth, complete with a tablecloth and cloth napkins – accoutrements not normally used during the day. You’re made to feel quite special.

I can't wait!! See you there! :)

Psst...who's splitting onion rings with me?

There will be substitutions to the normal ice cream - there will not be coffee ice cream.:banana:
Woo Hoo- great idea!

Yay! Not a coffee drinker, nor do I enjoy coffee flavored food. (I think this is why I don't love zebra domes)
Here, here! Same for me- no coffee and no zebra domes.

I doubt they have enough tablecloths for our group! :rotfl:

Sounds good to me. :thumbsup2 But I like ice cream too.
It's gonna be a tough choice! I like tough choices like this one. :cheer2:

11.30 we will be there for this meet!!!

A special thanks to yvet, mainegal, BriarRosie, wdwscout (and DH), emiel, AnneR who came to celebrate. There were onion rings to be shared and good times despite the rainy weather.

Eating the cold soup of melted ice cream with its odd mix of flavors was lots of fun. Thanks for the party, Ros!

I still think the Kitchen Sink is disgusting, but I am glad I was able to finally say I actually tried to eat a bit of it. I can cross that off my list for good, now. Thanks for sharing the onion rings!

I'm glad you had a happy birthday in the rainy gloom! And hey, you had Boma for dinner. Not too shabby!
