Just making my Fast Pass ressies for arrival day. We have never stayed at deluxe level, wondering if we drop our bags before we can get in our room will our bags be delivered to our room ?

They won't deliver the bags unless you are in your room. You have to call down and they will bring them up. A small tip is also customary.

If you are using Disney's Magical Express and are letting them handle the bags, they will magically appear in your room. No need to be there, and no need to call.

That's what we are counting on during our first WDW stay in June. Although the bags are delivered straight to your room, presumably when you are not there, should we tip someone? Leave a tip at the front desk?

If you drop bags yourself with Bell Services, you're not part of the Magical Express service, and that's why it's up to you to tip, and why they need you to be in the room.

If youj have carry on bags you may leave those with bell services after checkin, to retrieve or have delivered after you get your room as well.

And just fyi, this is all true for Values and Moderates, too. It's not unique to Deluxe.
