BCV Map ?

I was lookoing at the resort map of BCV. It looks like the resort is built over the top of a canal. I doubt if this actually true but that what it looks like. Can somebody please explain what I am seeing.

They made it look like it was over water.

Like SAB looks like a stream not a bunch of different pools.

Actually, that is true. One wing of BCV is built over a canal. It passes right beside the quiet pool area. I'm not sure how far it goes because I don't remember exactly what it looks like coming out of the other side of the building, but I think it goes all the way under that wing and out the other side continuing toward Epcot.
