Availability question at 7 mos.

I friends! Coming in to a little unexpected free money and am considering dvc. We have only stayed at kidani dvc 1 bedroom and loved it. But with kids ageing think Epcot resort might be better. How difficult is it to get Epcot 1 bedroom at 7 mos out? K&K at 7 mos out? Trying to determine where to buy...
Also wondering how often rooms are returned and whether there are assessments for refurb(as opposed to say hurricane damage). We loved the modernity of AKV and aren't to excited by the look of the BWV rooms though the location is awesome. Thanks!

On refurb - there is a capital fund in the yearly dues to pay for refurb. It isn't done as often as the cash resorts - but we pay for it. BWV just got a refurb, so if you don't like the look of the rooms, they probably won't change too much next time either - refurb changes don't tend to be huge, theming generally remains the same, and BWV theme is turn of the century Coney Island.

Don't forget that AKV will give you more years of ownership. You will need to decide if that is important.
