Aulani - missing item from room

Just got home from aulani and can't seem to find my daughters Nintendo ds. We searched the rental and unpacked all the luggage. Thinking iT may have been left in the room. We called lost and found and they said nothing had been turned in. How long do things take to get to lost and found? We were only there 5 days so we got a towel change on day 3 but otherwise no one was in our room.

If it was left in the room and turned in to lost and found, you should have heard right away. We found the customer service to be impeccable at Aulani.

We have made a claim with lost and found but we found our room had not been overly cleaned (beer cans under the sink, etc) so worry that the item is under the sofa or something and hasn't been found because the cleaner just does a once over before the next guest comes in.
