Aulani- family beach photos

We're heading to Aulani next month. I would love to have some family pictures taken at the beach. Has anyone used the Disney photopass photographers for a session? We're you happy with the pictures? How long was the shoot and how many pictures did they take? What about prices? I've been thinking about booking a photo session with a local photographer, but if I can save the money that would be great.
