Aulani - Air mattress?

We are planning our second trip to Aulani for Sept 2016 - this time we're taking my mother in law with us, so there will be 5 of us staying in a 1 BR Villa (Me, DW, DD(5), DS(3) and MIL).

I'm not sure the kids are going to cope with sleeping together in the sofa bed, and I don't know if the murphy bed will be big enough for my MIL. I've read reviews where people have used air mattresses, which we are considering for DS(3).

Do any Aulani experts know if Disney can provide an air mattress, and if so, is there a fee?

I've read many reports online, and the information has varied from people taking their own air mattress, Disney providing one for free, Disney providing one for $15/day. There doesn't seem to be any consistent information, and there is nothing that I can find on the Aulani webpage. As we a travelling from Australia, I'd prefer not to have to take our own.

I finally got an answer to this from Aulani (took a week for them to get back to me). Thought I'd post the answer here just jn case it's helpful to others in the future.

We offer Air mattress (for all room types) $15/day on request, subject
to availability.

That's great - I guess that includes some linens for it too. Since they're subject to availablity if they're "out" of them when you arrive you could go to the Target (at the next exit) and buy a mattress and battery pump for less than a weeks rental would cost.

I'm not sure if we'll have a car yet. We are thinking that we will just order one online form Target / Amazon etc, and have it delivered to the resort a few days before we arrive. It will be cheaper than hiring one from Aulani as we plan to be there for 10 days. Hiring might be a handy service if you are only staying a couple of nights though.
