Hi Scrawny! We've been on your own in Villefranche, but I must admit that we've been a little spoiled, because my best friend Godmother (who lives in Monaco) took us at the port and we visited with her. But in a few hours (we were back ont the ship at about 3.30 pm, or maybe 4) we went to Monaco, saw the castle, then a few churchs (inculded the one were Princess Grace was burried), toured the gardens, saw the Casino, then she drove to Menton (this is a really nice place, we had lunch in front of the sea, it was really pleasant). We also visited a chinese garden which was really pretty.
Next time, I'll be on my own with my mother too, but this time, a friend of us (who lives in Nice) is going to join us and we will stay in Villefranche. I have to check our plans.
But I think that touring Villefranche on our own is pretty easy. What do you intend to see? If you need some advises, I can ask my best friend, because she once lived in Monaco and knows the place really well.
For me, I've been to Nice a few weeks ago and this is a really pretty place to see. And you can walk or use the cabble car. If you can go there from the ship, and tour the old town, I think you'll love it. I've even been to and old castle (only ruins remains, but this is a really pleasant park and you have a fantastic view from there, on Nice and the sea)
But for La Spezia, I was on a Disney Tour, so unfortunately I can't help you!
Sorry
But I think that if you want to tour Florence, once you're there, you just have to walk because the town isn't huge. We walked all the time with the tour.
Hi Debsters41 ! I'll check for the Navigators, I'm not sure if I collected all of them because we shared them with my friends. In La Spezia, the Magic docked (but not in Villefranche). And our dining rotation was Lumiere - Animators - Carioca - Lumiere- Animator- Carioca - Lumiere
You're right, I asked!
So if you need more information, do not hesitate!
Have a nice day!
PS: I add myself and my mother to the FE list, I hope you won't mind!
