PS. I can't believe you went a year in betweeen trips after 2009. How did you survive???

How are you!! Been such a long time! Todd was the one having serious WDW withdrawls but I was fine, I had three nieces to play with for the last 7 months

Have a great trip!! I actually did a mini dining reviews (sans porn) and many of the TS that we ate at are ones that you had reviewed. Loved Fulton's and Cape May, you'll be swimming in crab legs and claws those nights

Can't wait for you to go on your trip. I've been so busy lately and haven't been on the DIS much, (I really have to get back to working on my reviews,) but I can't wait to read yours.

On the 16th I would try to switch Via Napoli to lunch, since it's the same menu as dinner, and eat at Flying Fish that night, I know how much you and Todd love it. And I think there would be MVMCP tickets left on the 18th, I mean, it's a weekday in mid-November, so I don't think it will be sold out day of.

I noticed you have not been posting on your thread...thought you were just way to busy catching up on things at home and work.

Really hope we get into MVMCP...love that Xmas feeling

And I HIGHLY recommend La Hacienda. It was the best Mexican food and margaritas (even better than La Cava - but just by a tad) we have ever had. The rosita margarita (with real rose petals and rose essence) and shrimp tacos are worth it. Definitely try it if you can

checking in late,don't know how i missed the start of this one. Love your reviews. We had a great family vacation in Sept and tried so many new places on Deluxe dining and I am taking my mom in May for her 70th birthday, just a girls trip. Trying a few new places then that you are scheduled to eat at so looking forward to the reviews.

Kathy, you totally cursed my "non changing" plans

I cannot sleep since this stupid time change, I am up every single morning at 5am...so I woke DH up (well I tossed and turned and kicked the covers until he woke up ) and we started talking about our trip.

DH: Where are we eating again

ME: (give DH the hairy eyeball in the dark) Are you serious?

DH: Yes

ME: I have gone over and over with you about where and when we are eating

DH: I know, I dont really listen to you that much so please, humor me

So I give him the run down, for the millionth time and he says

DH: I dont want Mama Melrose for our Italian meal, what else ya got?

What else I got?? Seriously? So I name AP (dont like it), The Wave (nah), Flying Fish (lets skip it), Sanaa (now he gives me the hairy eyeball), Bluezoo (nope) and then I give up

DH: What about that place in the Swan with the yellow drink (He means Il Mulino and the Lemoncello

ME: Ok, you tell me where I can fit that in because IM doesnt do lunch.

He looks at my wonderful list and procedes to disect it.

DH: Lets drop MM, move Via Napoli lunch for our HS day and put Il Mulino in our VN night

ME: I dont think I can get us in for VN for lunch, I have been trying all week and no luck.

DH: So try again, it is 5am and no one will be on the computer now but a nutcase Disney addict like you

By now I am up too long without coffee to be pleasant so I grumble FINE and off I go into the den, he follows me (must have a death wish) and I log on...sonofagun didnt I score us a VN lunch and an Il Mulino dinner for EXACTLY the days and times HE wanted???

We are not even at WDW yet and the dude is gloating like I dont know what.

From here on out I am done, the Dining King is in charge...he can do all this searching, calling and planning...I just want to show up and EAT

You two are so FUNNY!!!!! Dining plans are meant to be changed correct!!!!!!!! Our last trip was just DH and myself and it was much easier. Now add three sons (22, 21, and 12 and the mlb winter meetings to work around) to the mix and everything changes. I didn't book any breakfast meals, shame shame according to the DH, and he wants to do Tusker House now. I'm trying w/o any luck (perhaps your DH can help). I'm going to enjoy reading your reviews and stop thinking about my adrs that need worked on.

So this morning I am up at 5am again (I swear if I sleep in at WDW I am going to beat mysefl up!) and the King of Dining wakes up around 7am. This is the conversation

DH: You know babe, I've been thinking

ME: Congrats to you

DH: (Ignoring my smart butt comment because he is used to me) If we are going to do a late lunch on our Osborne Lights night we need to have a big breakfast to carry us through the day

ME: I think you should go back to bed, you must be sleep talking again....you will not remember this when you really wake up

DH: (Again, ignores me) Lets book a big breakfast and then we can have a pool day (he really means nap day)

ME: So enlighten me, what breakfast are you thinking of? (Me laughing because there is no way that I am going to find something last minute)

DH: How about the place with the doughnuts that I like, you know the one, the loud with all the charcaters (Todd has a habit of not remembering the names but he does remember the food)

ME: Do you mean Chef Mickeys?

DH: Yeah that sounds right

ME: (Literally laughing so hard I spit out my coffee) Ya right pal, I will get right on that.

DH: Ok thanks (doesnt get my sarcasm)

Now picture this, me in the den on the laptop and him standing right behind me and I show him that not only is CM booked but so isnt CP, Cape May, Tusker House....

DH: Wow, can you believe that? Nothing open at all, I cannot believe it

ME: Well how would have guessed??? I mean, it is just days away you would think something would be open for you (again with the sarcasm)

DH: Where is that place that I like the banana bread? (food he remembers but locations? Fuggetabout it)

ME: You mean Boma at the AKL?

DH: Yeah

So now I get to do Boma twice in one trip....unless he messes with me again
