When is the mandatory assembly drill usually held during embarkation day? Is it before or after the sail away party?

Before -- usually around 4 or 4:30. If the ship is staying overnight at that port, they don't have it until the next day. In Barcelona in 2007, we didn't end up having one at all!

It is held at 4 p.m. right before the sail away deck party.

    BEFORE @ 4:00 pm

"All" Ships services shut down around 3:30 to get everyone ready for the drill.

Before the party. The drill is much easier now that you don't have to wear the life jackets:)

Was that on the Westbound TA? Because I did here from somebody that they did have one but I didn't see it as I was on a tour that came back to the ship late. When I got on board the sail away party was just wrapping up in the atrium because of the rain/.

That might be why I thought there wasn't one -- we were occupied elsewhere.

I just pulled out the navigators that I saved from that trip and it says it was at 5:30 Pm which would have put it just before dinner. Even after looking at it I still don't remember it happening and I know i was on the ship then.
