Honestly, I think most complaints (including my own) are the result of not managing our own expectations. Yeah, it's Disney and you're paying more for everything, but seriously: counter service should be basically equivalent to fast food, table service is about chain restaurant quality, and Sigs should be elevated from there. Having said that, we thought Tony's was fine for what it is, which is Olive Garden-esque "italian." I had a caesar salad, hubs had spaghetti, and we found them both to be as expected. Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the desserts (pistachio creme brûlée and amaretto cheesecake) exceeded both our expectations. If you have easy access to really fantastic Italian restaurants all around you (or even better, a fantastic Italian mom or grandmother, lucky!) then, yeah, you're probably going to be disappointed, so maybe steer clear of the "italian" restaurants. I'm from the South, and (in my opinion) I'd be pretty hard-pressed to find better fried chicken than my grandmother's, or better barbecue than the little place my dad has taken me since I was maybe three, so I make it a point to not make ADRs for places like 50sPT or dinner at HDD, Whispering Canyon, or Trail's End, because I feel like I really wouldn't be making a fair comparison.
As for places that I wouldn't be in a big rush to return to:
Columbia Harbor House- A lot of people really love CHH, but for two people who are really not fond of "fast-food seafood", it was a poor choice made in times of weakness and extreme hunger.
Le Cellier- I feel my issue here was a valid one... I don't think it's too much to ask to not be seated so closely to the party next to you that when a child spills his entire glass of water, it ends up in your lap. I get it, kids can be clumsy and sometimes accidents happen, and I was in no way upset with him (definitely not as upset as his mom was!) but it occurred to me that if they had just not HAD to squeeze that one extra two-top into the banquette seating, I might not have looked like I wet myself for the remainder of the evening.
