Are both pools available to all AKL guests?

We just have a standard pool view room, so does that mean we won't have access to the whole resort? I know part if it is DVC, and a recent thread mentioned 'that' pool was nicer, so I'm just curious. Also wondering how accessible it would be to us (distance)? I SO wish we could rent points and also get free dining, but when I run the numbers... It is way to much $$. :-(

You can use both pools. I don't think that one is nicer than the other but you will be able to try both.

yes, you are able to use both pools. Out of the two, the Kidani pool is much nicer. It has a good slide and a great children's water play area.

The Kidani pool is very accessible - they run shuttles between Jambo and Kidani for AKL guests. We stayed in Jambo and went to Kidani often to swim and eat at Sanaa. It was fantastic! Enjoy!

We find the JH pool better - to each their own! It is also about a 5 minute walk to Kidani if you choose to visit their pool. We find the Kidani pool very nice, but very small - there is never an open lounger when we need one!
