April 3, 2015 Wonder (GC) Cruise Meet Thread

We had had an exciting and eventful year this year since this thread was started, and we are planning on taking this trip at another time. I wish you all well- perhaps we will meet on a different trip. :-)

My 8 year old girl and I will be traveling on this cruise for the FIRST TIME EVER!

Looking for other girls about the same age (and any single mommies who want to hang out as well) on this ship!

Hiiiiiii!!!!!

Ok I just read about the FE and my girl and I are in! Please someone help us and tell us what to do! We are first time cruise travelers!

My first post here, and this will be our first Disney Cruise. My husband and I will be traveling with our two kids. After the cruise, we're going to WDW for my daughter's band trip.

So excited!!!!:cool1:

Only 114 days to go!!!! I thought that we were going to have to cancel this cruise (there has been a lot going on!!), but we are still going!!!! This is our first 5 night sailing, and we are so psyched!!!!

I just made a reservation, got a free night using reward points, for the night before. We are staying at the Holiday Inn in the Port of Miami. After the cruise, we will be staying at WDW for a few days. I still have to arrange transport for that. Is anyone else going to the parks afterwards?

Hello!

11 in our party and 1st Disney Cruise for us all - Grandparents, Sons, Wives and 5 children ages ranging 4 - 12 yrs. Heard about the FE and would like to join in the fun. DH and I requested to join the FB "Disney Wonder April 3 2015" page. And as Newbies, I'd love to hear from experienced DCL travelers on tips to an enjoyable vacation experience. :)

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread. There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Booked the cruise exactly one year from the date of departure - can't believe we are less than 60 days from boarding!! We are 1st time Disney cruisers - myself, husband, 8 yr old daughter, 6 yr old daughter, and 3 year old son. Also traveling with Nana & Papa. Would love to participate in Fish Extenders (FEs)!!!!

We are in. First time cruisers. My husband, myself and our son, who turns 8 the day before the cruise.

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for starting the meet thread Tracey. I had looked for it before and didn't have a chance at the time to start one! We just got back from two week vacation (one week at the world, one at the beach), so I have shifted into full cruise planning mode!

I have my immediate family with me on this trip, DH, DD(10) and DD (9), alone with my inlaws. We will have two rooms and this will be our second time on the Wonder. I booked this trip back in February when it was so cold. I also moved a dummy date to this booking, but my TA thinks that the blackout dates that came out after I booked it won't be a problem.

I would be happy to organize the FE. I did it as a surprise for my in laws last trip and they LOVED it! Just send me a PM and I will get it started!

Talk soon:)
Hi, I'm not sure I understand the fe thing, but still would like to participate if it's not to late. Thanks!

I think the FE may be closed at this point. But if you want to message me I can share my cabin and be sure to include any interested in the little gifts we will get. It is a lot of fun for the kids to CME back after long day and find some treats waiting at their door!

Is there still time to sign up for FE?
I have 3 rooms- Room 1 in-laws (mother and father) Room 2- Sisters (2) Room 3- mom dad son (3 yrs old)

Is there still time to get in on FE?

Would like to still sign up for the FE group if there is time. We have 7 travelers. Four adults and DD 7, 5 and 4. One with a birthday we will be celebrating on the cruise!

Would like to be a part of fish extenders if possible. We have 2 adults and 1 son 8yrs old. Do we need to sign up somewhere?

Can I sign up? I am a single mom traveling with my 2 kids 10-girl, 8-boy. First time, on a disney theme vacation and think I have an idea about how FE works. I would like to know further information if anyone can share, please do.
