YAY 365 days till we will all be boarding for a wonderful (and not at all choppy ) sail to Hawaii!!!!

Wooooohoooooooo!!!

I am not listening to anyone mentioning cold or rocky with regards to the sea and weather conditions on the sea part of our Hawaiian cruise. I'm putting ear plugs in!!!

I so enjoyed the wedding yesterday, even though I'm not normally that interested in the royals.....today was almost a letdown ........ Though I did spend most of it moving Becky back home...together with 19 bags/case of clothes etc!

It's unbelievable Marilyn! I stopped counting at 15 pairs of shoes

She's home now permanently Marilyn, for now anyway, lol, it all got too much and she left at Christmas. For now she's here with us and working in town for a while. I have to say, vie never seen her this relaxed......

The first and last day were windy and cool on our last trip to Hawaii and rocky!

So would you suggest that perhaps it's the bay or harbor around Los Angeles that is rough?

Will we be able to hang out on deck the rest of the days?

Well, hello!!!! How fabulous! Are you guys booked yet???


Yes we are. It will be great to see you guys again. (Had to search for your name; you slacking off?). We are going on a five night in June with the granddaughters and all the grandparents.

This cruise will be Penny's first exposure to Hawaii and I can't wait to share it with her. I spent six years (two tours) in the Navy on Oahu and it was my favorite tour of duty.

Looking forward to catching up. Our best to Richard (U still married to him?)

Just booked a pre cruise stay on the Queen Mary .. Then the Super Shuttle
or cab to the ship . Stayed there once before.. quite the experience.

Had a beautiful afternoon at pier 39, wishing the Wonder happy sailing.

Bob & I, aka valbob89, met a number of old friends from the DISboards, Shirley & Doug aka ChipperMerlin, Sandy & Tony aka goofprincess, Hilary and her two children, Monica & Trevoy aka got2travel, Johanna aka renegade7, & Noel & John aka Birkner. Along with a zillion visitors to pier39, we were thrilled to hear and watch the ship leave wishing we were on her.

Bob took over 165 pictures. Here are a few I downloaded.

ship had just backed out of the slip.

almost no one on their balcony but a lot of people up on deck10 to watch as they slip under the Golden Gate.

San Francisco Fire Boat put on a show for all of us and escorted her past Alcatraz, Angel Island and to the bridge.

Hurry Back!
