AP rates are out for May! - wait no they're not

On the phone right now - no AP rates on weekend. AP rates are out but there's a glitch in the system so you can't book. I was told to try back later today ...

Sadly, the AP discount is a good bit worse than the January to June promo rate I currently have booked. When comparing the room rates only for Polynesian GVC, the discount is 30.16% for the January/June Promo and only 22.50% discount for AP.

Aside from that, I really need the one day base tickets for two in our party who do not have APs. I will use the other two one day tix to upgrade the two APs.

Hope the deal works for others--there was availability for Polynesian Concierge--I found that surprising!

Im really upset only because the WL or AKL isnt available without bunk beds for the weekend part of my trip. The months of waiting to try and upgrade was such a waste, im so dissapointed, but good luck to everyone else!

I tried to get Pop for Saturday 5/9 and it's not available. Only Sports and Music. I'll keep trying.

I received WL coutyard 5/7-5/13 $214 a night which is about 39% off which included weekends.

The week before and after Easter are always blacked out of AP discounts. (same for Florida residents and GP discounts.)

I had the same experience. We don't need the tickets, but the rate is still cheaper. Only the TPV was available for our stay. I played around with it and there were no moderates available for May 2-9th. Most deluxe hotels only had one room category available too.

What were your dates? I called for May 24th thru 28th for POFQ and the only moderate available was Coronado.

I called this morning and was able to get the AP discount for our split reservations in early May. Our Contemporary MK View rate went down to 364 from 490 a night and the Boardwalk Villa Studio rate went down to 209 a night from 380. That's 25% and 45%, respectively.

Our dates are 4/16 - 4/20 and when I tried to apply the code to one night of the reservation I was told I couldn't do that because I'd actually have to be arriving on the 19th to get the rate??

You would have to have 2 separatre ressies... one for 4/16-4/19, and one for the night of 4/19. You should see if the discount is available for that night, and then decide if it's worth it to split up your ressie. They can link your reservations, but there is a chance you may have to change rooms for your last night.

Thanks. I just got off the phone and this CM was very helpful and was able to do that for me. We saved $86, not a ton of money, but a cost of a day of eating and souveniers at the parks. Too bad the AP rates weren't good for our entire stay . . . every little bit counts I suppose. She was able to link our reservations, so hopefully we can stay in the same room.
