Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I just hung up with IT. I explained to him how all of my fp+ reservations weren't showing, how some of them only showed 1 person instead of all of us, and some were split. I also explained that I had tried to modify, cancel, rebook, etc. He asked to access my MDE. Once he got in and tried to help me and book them himself, he put me on hold. I was on hold for about 10 minutes. He came back to the phone and told me that he had spoken to his supervisor/specialist and was told that they are having difficulties with their system. (Nah, really??? :rolleyes1) He said that my fp+ selections should automatically load when the system is fixed. So basically it should fix itself and show correctly eventually. He told me that if it is not showing correctly in about 5 days that I should call back.

Question heading out on December 7th. No MB available but can order fast passes. So. Order fast passes and hope MB access shows up. And did I read or hear that December instead of all going live is still going to be in the testing process.

Do on line check in or if that is already done go in to modify reservation. You don't have to change anything. Your MB will probably be showing after you do that. Mine were not there until I followed someone's advice to try that. It worked
 
I had to call IT this morning early(around 8 AM) They fixed my problem and I have been able to personalize magicbands and make fastpass selections but Sunday, Dec. 8 has been a slight problem. All of my fastpass selections do not show up in the details of my daily plans. I guess they are still trying to load all their updates. I am sure IT is inundated with calls to fix various problems. Good luck to those who are still trying to get MyDisneyExperience to work correctly!

sorry if this is repetitive...

Just talked to IT. We are arriving Dec. 16th. The system today let me reserve very limited choices for Fastpass+. No Magic Band options.. I get an error. Talked to IT. The 60 days out option is only for testers right now. He said I should either get an email inviting me to link my Magic Bands and complete my Fastpass+ selections closer to 30 days before. He did say I can keep trying and see if the system let's me link/customize bands. Until that happens, I don't think I will see the full Fastpass+ selections.

I had to call IT to get my UT tickets fixed. They showed up on MDE but when I clicked FP+ it said I had no tickets. I spoke to the nicest customer service rep and she called her supervisor and they got it all fixed for me. She said the UT tickets are giving them a lot of problem but she wouldn't give up till it was fixed.

It took about an hour of waiting on the phone, but it's all done now! Yeah!! And to customize my MB I had modify my check in and then it let me.

Now I have a question. I have a 5 yr old who can't ride R&R because of his height. As of right now I have us all with a FP for that ride. Can I ride with the oldest kid, then have my husband take the oldest kid again but just have the oldest wear the little ones MB? Does that make sense?
 
I have FP+ showing up for BoG now on my MDE page. I'm still 70 days out so I can not use. Has anyone been able get the reservation from the main site and not having to go through the special invite?

What do you mean showing up for BoG? If you are 70 days out what/where are you seeing it?
 
If you're not getting the customize magic bands option, trying Modifying your check in. You don't actually have to change anything, just go through the process. That's what people have done, and then have reported back that it popped up after that.

I think that's only if you are within 60 days though. Not sure.
 
59 days out and this morning I was able to make Fastpass +. I had to modify my check in and then I also got personalize magicbands. Only problem is that my fastpass plus were showing up in the itinerary with the wrong people or wrong number of people. I went back in and modified all the fastpasses. Now the correct ones and some of the incorrect ones are showing. I think it will correct itself tho because when I try to modify the incorrect ones I get a blank page. Fingers crossed! Very limited choices, I guess we need to keep checking for new attractions to be added as we get closer!

Anyways, my dad suddenly disappeared from MDE and so I can make all the FP+ selections for my big party of 10 except him. I asked if I could go ahead and make all my selections anyways and then copy and paste, and she gave me serious attitude and again said I may not even be part of testing. Yep... ok sure. I think I will just go ahead:)

Yes, it does work. I saw that suggestion and went to the WDW site to try. At first a screen popped up telling me I could personalize but then it disappeared. I then hit "modify reservation" and the customize screen showed up then.:banana:

Green for me and pink for my sister.

Anyone who is not seeing the customize option should try this. You will probably get it afterwards.

I took the advice of hitting the "Modify Check-In" button and low and behold after I did that, the Customize MB and the FP+ options were all working!! MB's have been customized and FP+ have been chosen. Now I can sit back , count the days till arrival and then enjoy my long overdue trip to Disney!! :cool1::yay::cheer2:

I just got the email today at 43 days out (checkin 11/29).

Of course I have had everything - MB and FP+ selections - done for 2 weeks. ;)
 
Are the plastic UT tickets working now?

Mine worked with no problems! I just ordered and received them a couple days ago. They were 5 day base tickets. They were the plastic ones. I added the numbers on the back manually on the MDE app on my phone.

Yeah, it's really strange. MDE prompts us to configure magic bands and make fastpass+ reservations (or at least makes it look like we should be able to). Not sure why they expect people to wait for a personal invitation. Even the testing plan seems half-baked.
 
Well I broke down and solved my ticket issue myself. I couldn't get those two day tickets added, I couldn't upgrade them until I got there and it was stressing me out. So, I ordered new tickets for this trip and they will be delivered next week. I'll be able to make my fastpass+ reservations and stop worrying about all of this.
Our Magicbands are customized and ordered and now we wait. 57 days to go! :)
