I went to a party a few weeks ago and had some fabulous fried onions on the burgers. They weren't breaded. It was like the onions were peeled and thrown into a frying pan with garlic and some other ingredients. Anyone have a good recipe for it?
I'd just throw the peeled sliced onions into a pan with some olive oil and a little butter You can add seasonings if you like, but we just basically fry til slighlty bowned and nice and soft. Or you can toss them in olive oil and a spoon of sugar and cook in th oven for the same effect
