Anyone had this happen or something similar happen before??

I went to DL with my two sisters and some of my older sister's friends today. We all went on Space Mountain. As the ride was about to launch from the loading docks, I felt something hit me on the top right corner of my nose very hard, it then landed on my younger sis who was sitting next to me. She picked up a sticky, wet hard candy and screamed: "EWWW!!" and flicked it off of her arm. Someone in the line up above threw a piece of candy at us and it happend to hit me and left a small cut on the top right corner of my nose (less than an inch from the corner of my right eye). I'm glad my little sister didn't sit where I was sitting or else it would have hit her.

I didn't think anything could be done if I told a CM so I just exited the ride with my group and went to the Nurse's station on Main St. I just wanted to clean it so one of the nurses cleaned it with alcohol and gave me some polysporin along with a bandaid.

Has anyone ever had something like this happen while on a ride?

You should had pointed out who did it... the CM might have kicked him off the ride... but usually, if you ask nicely, they might let you ride again.

someone spit off a ride i operated, i called manager and they handled it but i dunno what the manager did...

In the future (should something similar happen) definitely report it. The culprits (if identified) would probably be escorted out of the queue. No one should have to put up with that.

Yes, something similar happened to us during our summer trip this year. Same spot but with us it was spit. There was no way to tell who did it. But, when we got off my husband told one of the CM's and they did nothing because we didnt know who did it.

Oh, gross! That's terrible! I don't get why some people get pleasure out of ruining it for others.

Unfortunately I didn't catch who did it. There were so many people in line and it was dark.

hey pix....could it have been that a kid who was on the top might have had the candy in their mouth and they were climbing on the rails and fell out of their mouth??? spit is deliberate i know but candy???? trying to be optomistic

That's what my group and I were wondering but my nose bone hurt like the dickens and it felt like I was hit by a small rock

Thats sick! I would definately report that if it ever happened again. At least it wasnt a big halkaloogie But it was close enough I guess.

No spit experience here! However, riding Indiana once, I got a back full of someone's soda . That kinda sucked...
