We are staying in a 2 bedrooms suite with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. I understand pots and pans and utensils are provided, but how about seasoning like cooking oil, salt, pepper and sugar? How about paper towel, dish detergent and laundry detergent?
We are not going to cook much except breakfast. I would like to be able to do some fried eggs, bacons and such.
I called the hotel but the cast member seemed just read it from the computer things that I have already known. Also, does the room provide slippers like some big hotels do?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
You are in a two bedroom villa at Kidani Village. There are no suites there. There is a difference between suites and villas, so you need to make sure you understand.
You will have dishes, pots and pans, flatware, cookware items. You will get paper towels, dishwasher detergent and dish detergent. Extra trash bags will be in the bottom of the trash can. These will be replaced on day four, but if you need more, just ask. You will get a single use box of laundry detergent when you arrive and another on each service day. You will get either a single or possibly two pouches of filtered coffee. They do not provide the Mr Coffee style basket filters if you want more. You also need to provide your own coffee other than the one or two pouches you get on each service day.
There is no salt, pepper, sugar, flour, etc. You need to provide these yourself if you plan to use them. They do not provide fabric softener or fabric softener sheets. If you want them, you'll need to provide them.
You'll have service every four days if you booked through DVC (points or cash through Member Service). If you are staying seven nights or less, you will get your trash removed and towels replaced on day four. If you are staying eight or more nights, you will get a full cleaning on day four and trash and towel service on day eight. You cannot ask for extra towels, shampoo, etc other than what is provided unless you pay for those item. DVC is a timeshare and members pay for everything they request other than what is already in the villa.
If you booked through Disney Reservation Center, you will get a daily full cleaning and they will replenish your supplies daily.
This is not a luxury hotel like the Ritz Carlton. This is a timeshare. No slippers, no robes.
