I'm actually a SoCal local, but I have no experience with Soak City and no recent experience with Knott's. I'd rather spend my money on Disney, but since Disney has no water park we're going to go to Soak City for DD's 6th birthday. I got discounted tickets at Costco, so if it sucks it's not a huge loss.
Any recommendations? I'm assuming we bring our own towels. Can we bring in sealed water bottles? Snacks, lunch? I know their website says no outside food, but wondering how is in practice?
