Any Deals on PS3 games or Blu-Ray discs?

Bought my husband a PS3 for Christmas.

Now, I'm looking for deals on games or Blu-Ray movies. Anyone know of any good deals?

Best Buy and Circuit City both have B1G1 Free BluRay movie offers right now. I got 2 sets at Best Buy - they had a pretty good selection. For DFIL I got The Departed and Ocean's 13. For DS15 I got 300 and Hostel II. $15 each movie isn't too bad.

I haven't seen great deals on games, but some older games are $29.99. I bought DS15 Assassin's Creed - it was full price but you get a $10 GC with purchase.

DS19 purchased the remote ($24.99) for DFIL- he said it's much better to use than the controller for watching movies. Something else you might want to consider.

Best Buy appears to have a few decent games on for <$40 . Not sure how long the sale is on for though.

I'll second Bearvet's suggestion on the remote as well.

Based on your suggestions, I am getting a remote. I went last week and bought some of the b1g1 movies at Best Buy and Circuit City (thanks Bearvet). I also bought the football game that was $10 at BB.

Yes, I'm getting the 5 free movies, but most of the choices are not movies we would watch. So I might be selling a few of these.

The place where I bought the PS3 also had a couple of the newer sports games (which are my husband's favorites) on sale last week for about half price. So I picked those up. I think I'm set and will just start keeping an eye out for Blu-ray deals.

A little late now but a good place to watch is JR.com. They are out of NYC I think but they sometimes offer great sales. I bought my DH "Black Hawk Down" and "Underworld" on Blu-Ray for $9.99 each. They also had a good selection of Blu-Rays that were $13.99 each. This was a special sale but from what I've read they have them often. I also watch Best Buy and Circuit City because they often run the B1G1 sales. Bought him "Casino Royale" and "Gridiron Gang" both for $30 through that one.

I watch the deals threads on fatwallet.com and that's where I find the deals usually.
