Another example of liberal elitism

I view Liberal Elitism ok pass the bottle as an Oxymoronic Phrase
OxymoronA rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence or in this case Liberal Elitism ok pass the bottle, again.

Liberal
1. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
2. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.

Elitism
The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources.

Not to hijack this thread, but Betz, LOVE the picture of the Light House. Looks like Nubble to me.

If everyone in the world was exactly like everyone else, then we would all be..........................................................boring.

No, it is Portland Head Light, but if you go to The Nubble make sure to stop at Foxes' Lobster Pound and Nibble at The Nubble.

Thanks for the answer. I should have known, Nubble has no little house toward the water, all I had to do was look at the picture next to my desk here! MMMMMMM, lobster, think we will get some tomorrow.

Can I just ask where do you find all these cute smileys? You seem to find one to fit every occasion. Do you need to go through all 109 on here?

Well, I do see that this columnist's view is shared by much of the LIBERAL ELITE.

I really like that Kendra said Liberal ELITE rather than elitist.

Elite: n.
a. A group or class of persons or a member of such a group or class, enjoying superior intellectual, social, or economic status:

b. The best or most skilled members of a group: the football team's elite.

When you reply, there is a box of smileys to the left of the reply text box. Just above the smileys is a link to "Get More" which pops up a second window of more smileys. I think it's also possibe to link to smileys on other sites but I've never tried that.

Yes, I noticed my error. I didn't correct it before since I also said pseudo-elites. Now go on, have another drink.

e·lit·ism or é·lit·ism
1. The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources.
2.
1. The sense of entitlement enjoyed by such a group or class.
2. Control, rule, or domination by such a group or class.
