If I activate a new annual pass on December 7, 2007, is it good through December 7, 2008? Or good through December 6, 2008?

Yes, I'm trying to figure out how to get FOUR visits to WDW on one annual pass for my husband.

It will be valid through the end of the day, December 7, 2008.

Since next year is a leap year, you'll actually get 367 days for your annual pass...;)

Normally it's 366 days.

We make sure those passes cover at least 4 trips per calendar year (see below) and do the same with the DDE. :thumbsup2
As crazy as it may sound, going to WDW winds up as a very inexpensive trip each time. DME and good SWA fares help, too. :)

(I must add that by now, we've accumulated more than enough Disney stuff, and so have all the members of our family , so souvenir shopping is very minimal.)

oh I agree - without DVC certainly won't be going as often.

went in Sept - going in Oct, March and May, Sept - all on one annual Pass

Wow! If I had more vacation time, we'd be there more often, too. We usually go twice each year so next year with 3 trips is the exception for us. By timing it correctly in December, I will be able to get the 4 trips on one A/P!

Four trips in one year.:sad2: How depressing for someone like me who can only go once each year. Bet you all are having a great time though.;)

Speaking of annual passes. . . .I am a NEW DVC member (almost 2 weeks now) - and I JUST today got my AP renewal letter in the mail-saying if I renew by Nov 30th I can get $40.00 off the renewal, but the renewal letter doesn't know I am NOW a DVC member. So how would I go about renewing my AP? Is there a certain DVC number I call to renew them????

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I agree. We got AP's for our Aug. trip and we used them for an 8 day trip then. Next in Nov. we are back for another 8 nights, then in Jan. we are going for 5 nights and I bet we will squeeze a week in early Aug. before they expire mid Aug. :thumbsup2

Call MS and ask the CM to renew. You will get the DVC discounted renewal.

Congratulations and welcome home!

I am also a new DVC Member and I am beginning to understand the value of MS. I also need to renew my AP BUT I would like to apply a one day ticket I have from last year. Can they apply that credit too or do I have to wait until I get to WDW.

You'll have to wait until you get to WDW - Only the CMs at a Guest Relations booth/office can process that type of transaction.

Timing and Planning are everything when you are trying to maximize your AP purchase. We are doing 4 trips on our AP too. Just did the first trip in August and then we are going back in April 08, June 08 and finally the 4th trip in August 08 which is exactly 51 weeks after the first trip. That should give us a total of 20 days at WDW on our AP.

THIS is great to know. I forgot to mention that in my post. Thank you and GLAD to finally be "home".! :thumbsup2

I'd love to get 4 trips in per Annual Pass! Maybe someday... :cloud9: We did just get 3 trips out of our last AP's, for a total of 26 days. Our cost for the AP's was $1575 for the 5 of us. Divide that by the 26 days we used them, and you've got $60/day for ALL of us to park hop. ($12/day per person) Not bad. :thumbsup2

When I tell my friends that it's cheaper for us to go to WDW than other places, they just laugh at me. :sad2:
