Angelrose, I cannot believe it's been 7yrs since your beloved Ron began his spiritual journey. He would be so proud how far you've come and all the wonderful times and vacations you've had with your family. He is smiling from above and so proud of you
. Keep up the good work as his loving memories warm your heart forever.
Which sadly brings me too - I could use some prayers dear friends

Friday morn my loving soulmate, Bob, suffered a stroke
. He got up, had no balance, terrible pain in the right side of his head and eye, couldn't swallow and told me he thought he was having a stroke. Being in such excellent health, no heart problems, no high BP, normal cholesterol and always great bld work, etc. - I could not believe my ears! I gave him a dissolved baby aspirin, keep him calm and comfortable till the ambulance arrived. Altho I was a mess, I managed to stay calm for his sake.
To make a long story short, after many specialists and tests, he indeed did have a Wallenburg Syndrome Stroke. I have never ever heard of this kind of stroke, but the drs confirm, of all the strokes, this is the one to have with a very promising recovery, as the brain can miraculously remap itself. The right side of his head, face and eye are numb, and mouth partially, as is the right side of his body weak, but his speech by some miracle is mostly normal. His recovery thus far has been nothing short of a miracle as he surprises his medical team daily. Yesterday was a mild stone as he was cleared to begin eating small amts of soft food. He has not been able to stand, today he was able to do a short trip on a walker, with the help of 2 therapists by is side. I am praising God and counting my blessings it was apparently a mild stroke and he is such a positive thinker and fighter. Tomorrow he will be admitted to Inova Rehab, which altho is quite a distance from our home, his neuro says it has an excellent reputation, and family agrees whatever it takes for his well being is definitely what we'll do!
He has promised me he will dance with me on his 80th BD in Sept
! Thank God for my loving children, SonIL's, and extended family in my time of great need - not sure I'd survived this without their never ending support and they see that I take care of myself too. I am on the road or at the hospital, but will keep you updated as time allows. Thank you, I would truly appreciate if you kept my soulmate, Bob, in your positive thoughts and prayers.
Godspeed
