I was noticing the "mom" in the logo now wears aqua. Wondering it that means anything. I like both pink and aqua, so just asking out of curiosity!

If they take 9 WDW, and interview 2 per slot (this is all just a guess for statistical purposes), odds are 6% Rd3 and 4% getting on (based on the awesome spreadsheet #s).

Based on the #s above regarding the current makeup, of the 26 seasoned panelists, only 10 would go into inactive due to contracts. So unless others take a year off, that reduces the #s. (5 for specialties and DLR). That leaves 5 slots for WDW and the stats at 5% to R3 and 2.6% onto panel.

However, b/c of the popularity of the MP, they may be looking to increase the size and scope. And again, some panelists may decide to take a year off.

Suzanne you are our math friend. Am I on track here?

Regardless, this is still a super awesome ride!!! And, we only had a 2.5% overall chance of getting to round 2 if there were 10,000 applicants and they took 250.

I love your list, but can you please remove my last name from the Google doc? I think for safety/privacy reasons, it would be better to remove all last names. Many if us have TR and vacations scheduled so better for us not to be so find'able. Thanks so much.

Yes, could you please take off the last names? Going to a private group in Facebook and posting everyone's name on a public document is really not the best thing to do. My name is actually on there, but not tied to my DIS ID, so I'm listed twice. I tried to remove, but it won't let me edit it.

I think a lot of people may be upset if they realized their full name is included on your public list.

My understanding is that all specialists train together at WDW. That's what my Round 2 email said, that I needed to be available for training at WDW sometime between the dates of 11-18 December. I applied for DL specialty.

The training is for the computer system and has little to do with your speciality.

After reading a couple of the training trip reports, it appears the trip is only about 4 days.

I wonder if they keep all the days during that time period open in case they get a run on rooms on a particular day or two.

Since we're running a bit behind due to the computer glitch, I'm betting on the later dates in that span but that's just a guess.

It seems as though many people are uncomfortable with last names being made public on the R2 spreadsheet. For everyone's privacy, I think the list should be edited to include last initials only. Thanks for taking care of this!

I am still able to open it. The first tab is empty, but the calculations (odds) tab is still up. Perhaps she is working on it to remove last names as requested. I hope she doesn't completely erase the list. I really liked it.

Hi! I just found this-- I'm waiting for Round 2 results as well. I don't feel so great about my application, but I did the whole thing on a whim so I won't be too broken up if I don't go any farther.

I didn't expect to move on to R2 because I realized once I sent the application that I was logged into my husband's MDE account-- we were making FP+ reservations the night before. Imagine my surprise when my DH mentioned offhand on the morning of the 24th, "Oh, honey, I got a weird email from Disney that I think might be yours." I had roughly an hour to do the video and application.

At least I have my upcoming trip to console me-- 11 more sleeps! Good luck, everyone!

WDW. I didn't say I did it WELL. Also, it was probably more like two hours. I didn't get my video finished before we left for the zoo, so I had like, five minutes to do it there before the kids went crazy.

I'll link to it, because it's really hilariously awful. I'd like to see others that weren't so rushed, if anyone has the link!
