All Star Buses, late January

Considering a stay at All Star Movies for our next trip (end of January 2017)

I know that during the slower times of year All Star resorts share buses, and that Movies is the last picked up. Is it really that bad during the last week of January? It might be what sends us back to Pop instead of Movies.

The All-Stars do share buses sometimes-but never at Park Opening which is the "critical" time.

To me,the sharing is not that big of a deal-not a deal-breaker for sure.

Here is some info from my most recent stay at Sports you may find helpful.

It is about 2 minutes travel time from Sports to Music and 2 minutes from Music to Movies.

I listed when the Sports bus shared with Music and Movies and the bus travel times.

I also did some Park Hopping:
Monorail from TTC to Epcot----9 minutes.
Monorail from Epcot to TTC----7 minutes.
Express Monorail----4 minutes
Friendship between Epcot and DHD----20-30 minutes(We actually did make it in 20 minutes one day!)

I see NO difference in All Starts sharing buses and moderates and deluxes with multiple stops within the resort or between various resorts.

I went the last week of Jan this year and stayed at Movies. No Problem even with the BTGs and some teen groups on the last day or so. I only shared mid day or to DTD, and even then I never stood. I did have some waits (10-15) but at least one of those was that HS is the last bustop and I saw the bus and then I saw it leaving as I was not even half way there and waiting was a solid 15-20 minutes for the next one.

Now then coming back from DTD was a little crowded. Again I happened to get there not long after a bus had left so I was closer up in line but I'm pretty sure by the time the bus came that the line was long enough that some had to wait for another bus.

Coming back from the parks was not particularly crowded as long as it wasn't closing but the buses did not share then and again a 10-15 waits at times but usually 10 or below.

I found the much longer lines for POP buses to be more inconvenient than the few times buses were shared during my stay at All Stars end of October/early November.

If you are concerned, you could request the Mighty Ducks section at Movies. It's very close to the main building and bus stops for Music, so you can use their buses. That's what I did.
