Hello and to a disneymoon trip report!

This is my first trip report and I am super excited about sharing my disneymoon with all of you!

If you want to see our PTR, read along here: Disneymoon PTR There were most definitely changes made during our trip!

So mixed in with this TR will def be wedding updates! I shared some teaser pictures over on the PTR and would love to share more details with you!

So who are we?!?

This is me! My name is Christina. I am a 26 year old social worker who does event planning part time. I am in LOVE with disney and after this trip, i am in love even more (didn't think this was possible!)

This is my husband, Scott. He is a 31 year old, loss mitigation specialist. This was his FIRST trip to disney and he now has the disney bug! yay! (for those who read my PTR, you know i was wishing this would happen!)

The details!
We spent from 10/31-11/5 at the beautiful Grand Floridian! We obviously celebrated our honeymoon and Scott's first visit! We had a 4 day park pass with the deluxe dining plan. We had surprises from the Disney florist mixed in with F&W, MNSSHP and the fireworks dessert party!

I named this TR "Wishes" because A TON of wishes came true during this trip and I will share them all with you!!

We woke up bright and early at 4 am for arrival day!
We had 3 hours of sleep the night before-really it was a nap! lol
Our wedding ended at 1130- but we were so excited and hyped up, we really didn't sleep much!
We were woken up to muffins and juice

It was way too early to eat, but we took a muffin each with us. We got ready and went to our home in order to wait for the limo to pick us up. The whole time just going over the night before and how excited we both were!
The limo picked us up. I was really unhappy with his service. So he gave me an icky taste in my mouth! Thankfully, our ride to the airport was quick and easy. We were checked in and went through security VERY quickly!

A little after we went to our gate, we were getting hungry, so we went to Jamba Juice and got our usual favorites!

Shortly after that, it was time to board!
For the most part it was an easy flight, we were slightly delayed because it took a while before we got off the runway.
We finally landed at MCO and got ready for our first ride!

We got our luggage and we were on our way to find the magical express! We got a little lost. Oh well lol

on the express!

I feel like such a terrible DIS'er! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!!! I will post an update this weekend and each week there after!!!!

Ok fellow dis-ers! here we go!
I am glad i finally have time to update and relive our trip!
I hope all is going well with each of you!
I have been logging on weekly and keeping up-to-date with everyone's reports!

Let's get moving here!

Last left off, we were arriving in the WDW area!
We got to the stunning GF and we were floored!! it is soooo beautiful! We had two women from concierge greet us! They were SO sweet! They asked about our flight from NY, our wedding and so on. We were checked in right away! We booked a garden view but were given a beautiful pool view. We were able to watch Wishes from this view! (ill share pics of the room a little later!)

We met with our bellhop and he took us on a little tour of the GF. He pointed out restaurants,new changes, so on and so on. I would like to mention that never once were we bothered by any construction going on! To be honest, we never noticed it! The bellhop was VERYYYY chatty! He took us to an area looking over the pool-he kept us waiting for a little bit to get the cart...normally, not a problem. But, since we were running a little late (bec we had luggage issues and then got lost) i wanted to make sure we were able to unpack and get to our cabana rental on time!

We finally got to our room with what felt like forever! I must have mentioned our cabana rental 4 or 5x. It got to the point where i just started unpacking with him in the room. It was so uncomfortable! Again, i normally wouldn't mind and he was being so sweet, i just didn't want to be late! He finally left, and with that, we had 15 minutes to unpack and get ready for the cabana!

Thankfully, we were able to accomplish this rather quickly! Hubby was a huge help! He knows I just can't get a vacation started without unpacking and organizing!

We took a nice short walk to the pool area and checked in! We were the only ones with a cabana rental that day.
Seriously guys, this was the BEST idea ever!! It was soooooooooooooo relaxing and exclusive feeling! I will do this EVERY trip! It was worth every penny!!

The fruit was out of control delicious! We ordered some drinks and toasted to our first married day and being on our disneymoon

It was def a bit chilly, so we didnt swim, we just soaked up the sun and took a nice cat nap.
We decided to order lunch-its so great, you can order right from the cabana and they deliver it!
We ordered salads, hamburgers and dessert!

after lunch we hung out a bit more, then decided to go up to the room to get in a better nap and then get ready for dinner!!!

Much to our surprise was this waiting for us!

It was such a sweet surprise from my parents!!!!

Up next: Our first dinner as newlyweds and the disney florist strikes again!!!

That seems like the most relaxing day at the cabana! And your surprise at the room is so cute! We also bought the ears, but didn't get them in such a cute way!

Hey! thanks so much! The cabana really is amazing! And we will def rent it each and every trip that the weather permits! And I agree, I wish other resorts had them as well! We are thinking BW for our next trip and they don't have them.

I was so excited for this evening!
Our first special dinner and surprises planned for my new hubby!
We had to leave our room much earlier then our reservation time because the disney florist was paying a visit! I told Scott that i wanted to take some pics and explore the resort. He did, too.

We checked in, and went out onto the deck, it was BEAUTIFUL! So romantic and perfect! We could see MK! It was so cool!

We were then bought to our table with special menus!

Everything looked SO yummy!
I started off with a glass of wine, while hubby went for a fun drink.

We each had an app- Hubby had the calamari and I had the lobster rolls- both amazing!

Then we had our meals...
Scott got the filet with mushroom sauce. Now, i am not a big red meat eater, but i wanted to try this! it was UNBELIEVABLE! I kept eating from his plate! My dish was equally as amazing!

Then to dessert- now the plan was to stay and watch hallowishes-but we were told the wrong time and we were an hour early- no problem though.
Oh i should mention, they sat us with the perfect view of the castle!
Dessert was next!

Creme brulee and gelato

DELISH!
This was one of the best meals i think i have ever had! We will def make this a must do, every trip!
We walked around the resort a little more and then back to the room!

SURPRISE hubby!

He LOVED his surprise! I really wanted him to get the whole Disney experience! And he soaked in every part of it!
Shortly after, Wishes started and we were able to watch it from our room! The pool also had the music piped in!
What a perfect night!
We were totally exhausted and knew we had a busy day ahead!
Up next! Hollywood studios and MNSSHP!
