How does your child get to be a guest conductor on the train? Do you just ask the cast member at the boarding platform?
I've never heard of this. I do know that if your child is 10 or older, they can take the Disney's Behind The Magic Of Our Steam Train Tour. That will get them up close to the workings of the train.

Yup, that's all it takes! Just ask...oh and sometimes they let adults do it too (I'm one of those train dorks!)
