Good morning,

We are going back to our favorite resort next week and are staying a couple of night at Concierge. We haven't been back since last summer.

Has anybody been there lately? Any major changes?

Is Francisco still there ? He is great !

Wish I could answer but, in my 13 years of DVC, I have never been able to get a concierge(K-Club) reservation.

OMG, really?
We are able to get it most of the time, even for just one night and enjoy 2 days. Sometimes, I just happen to check randomly, even when not staying there, and a lot of times a night or 2 will pop up. I book them if I have the points or change those nights, our kids are now over 21, so we all enjoy free mimosas and the rest of the offerings.

Hopefully , one day you will get it!

You might want to ask over on the AKL thread in the Disney Resorts (not DVC Resorts) Forum because, given the number of rooms, there are more non-DVC people staying in rooms with Club Level access than there are DVC people staying in rooms with Club Level access:

We were lucky enough to stay there one night in March and it was amazing! It was our first time, so I don’t know if there have been changes, but we did meet Francisco. He is the best! I hope I am able to stay there again someday.

For our upcoming July trip, I noticed CL at Jambo was available for our first night, and so, I changed. We do enjoy CL, and occasionally I get a night or two.

We stayed on March 30 for one night in a one bedroom and separate standard studio. We needed our own sleeping spaces. I left Grand Floridian to go check in mid morning. Upon arrival, I was checked in at regular check in in the lobby. I've stayed quite a few times, but the last time was a couple years ago (early 2022), so I was expecting to be escorted to check in upstairs in the lounge. The rest of our party arrived after leaving the other hotel (VGF) after checkout.

Eventually we were taken upstairs and got our elevator keys. There was now a stand up check in stand and no mimosa was offered that I recall. No sitting and relaxing. Our 1 bedroom wasn't quite ready but we got it fairly quickly. The studio took longer. We were invited to have the snacks that were out. Later on we took advantage of this and enjoyed the snacks. There is another new coffee machine (3rd or 4th since they started offering specialty coffees) and I found it much easier to use than the last one.

The pool was fun for some and a couple of us went out for lunch. Later on the 5pm offerings were very good as were the dessert offerings. Morning breakfast was also very good. And the Cast members as always were wonderful.
