General Question: How do you make FastPasses and ADR's work together?

Specific Question: In the following Studios touring plan, for what time should I make an ADR for the 50's Prime Time Cafe for Supper?
Tuesday, May 19, park hours 9-7.
Arrive about 10:30-11:00.
1. Get FastPass for Rock n' Roller Coaster, then see One Man's Dream.
2. Backlot Tour.
3. Lunch (counter service)
4. Beauty and the Beast.
5. Great Movie Ride
6. MuppetVision3D, be sure to see preshow
7. Streets of America (tour)
8. Star Tours
9. Toy Story Mania (let trigger string go all the way back in before pulling again)
10. Either Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular or Lights! Motors! Action!
11. Rock 'n Roller Coaster
12. Dinner
13. Voyage of the Little Mermaid
14. American Idol Experience, if running; else Magic of Disney Animation (or both if time)
15. Tower of Terror

Best regards,
TexEars

:welcome: to the DIS!

Can you arrive at park opening? That's a very ambitious schedule if you are arriving at 10:30 or 11 and the park closes at 7. I think you won't come close to getting all of that done (plus squeezing in two meals as well).

No, can't arrive early, but point taken (this is the TouringPlans.com late arrival plan, but they recommend against stopping to eat, at least doing anything more than pausing). I was already thinking about ParkHopping back to Studios on the night that it has Extra Magic Hours because this seems really tight (and, worse, Tower of Terror is my favorite attraction and it's at the end of the day I've given you). I think I'll reconsider the ADR, or set them for closing time.

Many thanks,
TexEars

That made me laugh. Doesn't sound like much of a vacation if your virtual tour guide doesn't allow you time to EAT!!!

I agree with the PP. You will not get all of that done if arriving at 10:30-11am. Not if the park closes at 7:00pm. It will be physically impossible. Ignore the plans, decide which attractions YOU want to ride, and which shows YOU want to see, and leave the pre-packaged suggestions by touringplans at home. If you can't get it all done in a single day, then devote two days to DHS. If you can't do that, then you probably weren't that interested in doing all those things anyway.

I'm not trying to be mean, just practical. If you try to do too much, you won't get half of it done, and even if you do, you most likely will not have enjoyed it. Good luck.

TouringPlans late arrival plan recommends TSM as the 9th thing you do? I've used TP in the past and it worked great, but if that's their advice, I think they're smoking something over there.

I agree with the PP - you should get there earlier, or adjust your expectations.

As for FP and ADRs - your first question - you can use your FP anytime after your return window opens, so your ADRs should not impact whether you can use your FP or not - it sounded like that's what you were getting at, but I'm not sure.

Shhh... I think my hubby wrote that touring plan. One time, in MK, I couldn't get a Dole Whip 'cause it wasn't on the schedule.
