ADR questions

Hi,
I have my resort reservation booked for April and am looking forward to making my dining reservations soon. I am confused though. Last time we stayed off-site, so I had just the 180 day window. This time, I have 180 + 10 (190 days) since I am staying at a WDW resort, right? Also, do I need to purchase our park tickets before this too? Or just have our resort booked? TIA.

As an on-site guest, you do get the 180+10 benefit, and you have this benefit whether or not you already have your park tickets. But 180+10 is not 190 days, but rather, at 180 days from your check-in date, you can make ADRs for your whole stay, up to 10 days. So, if you're staying for 10 nights or less, you can make all your ADRs at 180 days from check-in. Make sense?
