ABC Super Soap Weekend

Just wondering if anyone attended Super Soap Weekend? I went a couple of years in a row and met some members who said they come in every year. So if you were there, please share. Was unable to go the past two years, but had fun and we made it a family girls thing, With husband and son doing there own thing in the other parks.

We were there last year......we stayed for the parade. It seemed to be very crowded where we ended up and left right at the end of the parade. We really did stay for any of the other Soap festivities.

We went! Unfortunately, we were totally out of points so we ended up staying at CBR- which was nice enough but I missed being "home".

The crowds were big, but I thought Disney had it pretty organized. I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twins so I needed a wheelchair per my OB's instructions, but it was great because I got close seats in all of the shows.

I was disappointed that I didn't get a fastpass for autographs with my favorite on GH- Spinelli. His FP's went very early! I didn't realize his popularity. I did get to meet Rebecca Herbst (Liz from GH) so it was worth it.

We did stop by SSR on Sunday to scope out the scene for our upcoming trip for New Years- provided these babies let me go!

It seems Sats. is packed. We went in 03 & 04 I think alot of local people come in for the day. On Sun. we had a great spot for the parade. Forget the fastpass for autographs people are outside the gates at 5:00am (I like my sleep to much) so we would just go by the area's you could still see and I always got great pictures. We never stayed late for the night time street jam. In 04 we stayed at the Beach Club and it was rumored some of the stars were staying at the YC one of the bellman told us people were in the lobby till 1am waiting to see them. And of course my DD and DN had to stop by on there way home from DDD.

In 04 we had to stay at CS the first night, yes it was great to get 'home' the 2nd night to BCV. So I get it, we just get use to our homes. That was our first stay at BCV and it was great. Isn't Rebecca even smaller in person? she's so little. Glad you were able to get a wheelchair since I'm sure you notice many do get them for that reason not Drs. orders but up front seats. They came up with the fastpasses a few years ago, but it still is impossible to get a session unless you camp out. My niece was able to get a picture w/Natalia Livingston after she was done her session, but that was because she told her, her husband was in Iraq (which he was) and she was very gracious and told her escort to wait and she would take a picture with her. Congrates on the twins and yes I hope you get 'home' to SSR.
