So in the process of walking down Main St. we decided that the first ride of the trip needed to be on Big Thunder Mt. I couldnt be happier, as this was the same ride we had ridden first on my first trip ( I am a sucker for traditions.)
As we cross the bridge I see another photopass person!
A cute first visit photo! Johns eyes are open in this photo!
And a close up!
Look another family! (I have no idea why their photo is on my photopass! However I feel it is important that I share it with you.
Walking through we are sad to see this sign. BOOOOOOOOO ( and yes I did know going into the trip that it would be closed)
We walked up to BTM, and pretty much were able to walk on! The only thing that I dont like about walk on rides is walking through all the line dividers. When you walk through those things too quickly you really get dizzy! As always it was super fun, and Josh loved all the themed stuff. I was super nervous he wouldnt get Disney, but when we got off he told me how much he loved the ride, and I knew we were going to have fun! As we walked off we made sure to stop and peek at the hidden Tinker Bell!
After that there was some talk of going to Tom Sawyers island, but we decided it was too cold! At this point in the trip is was FREEZING. There were people walking around with full on coats, and scarves!
We scooted over to try and catch the Haunted Mansion, however, it was closed! It was only down for a short time, and they told us to come back later.
So off to Fantasy Land we go!!!! On the way we stop into the little kitchen store, and begin to pick out what we to get for our kitchen back home! We decided we were going to go with the body parts theme, as it was more classic Disney than the blue one.
OK now back to Fantasy Land!
So we headed off to Small world!
We were lucky enough to be at the front of the line at 11:00! So we got to see the fun clock in action!
Both Joshua and I feel the same way about this ride, we enjoy it, but it isnt the end of the world if we dont ever see it again. I love the start of the ride, but by the third room, I am ready for it to be over. I think more people would enjoy the ride if they were to cut it shorter!
Coming up : More Fantasy Land!
